STOP ANIMAL ABUSE

So my sister told me a story tonight...
my other sister had a cat who had four kittens while she was staying with us. Two black males, a black and brown tiger female, and a tortoiseshell female. When she moved, she gave away some kittens. One of the kittens, a male, she gave away to a little boy who lived next door because his parents came over and said he could...
A while after, his parents came back and asked for another one...because their son KILLED the other one. It. Was. Dead.

I watched that kitten come into the world. I named that kitten. I loved that kitten. I played and helped nurture that kitten. I was there when it opened its eyes. I did that to ALL of those kittens... and all of that care, love, support... to have a kid just KILL one of them?
I cried... believe me I cried when I heard this...I went straight to my cats and spent time with them and realized how much they mean to me. Especially Vinnie, the first cat on that stamp. The white one with golden eyes.
I took that picture myself a while ago. He's been with me for a very long time.
I started crying just writing this.

ANIMALS ARE PRECIOUS THINGS AND SHOULD NOT BE TREATED UNFAIRLY
Sure, I understand hunting. We hunt animals for food, that's fine. That's what they're there for.
But to TORTURE? No. THEY'RE NOT YOUR PLAY TOY! I don't care if you're a family member of mine, a friends of mine, or even in a relationship with me--if you don't care about how animal abuse is such a huge issue or you support any bit of it, then you are one less person I want involved with my life.
